Painter
and Decorator
Liverpool

Liverpool has more listed residential property per square mile than almost anywhere in the North West — and more that can go wrong in the hands of a decorator who doesn't understand it. We've worked in this city for years. The Georgian Quarter, the Sefton Park villas, the Baltic Triangle fit-outs, and the high-end residential belt across Woolton and Aigburth. We know the work that Liverpool demands.

Heritage Work
Is Not Like
Other Decorating

The Georgian Quarter is one of the most concentrated areas of listed residential architecture in England. Streets like Falkner Street, Huskisson Street, and Percy Street are Grade I and II listed, with original lime render, ornate plasterwork cornicing, and breathable masonry that has survived for two hundred years because it was allowed to breathe. Seal it with the wrong material and you trap moisture — visible damage can follow within a season, and the remediation costs are significant.

We apply limewash and lime-based finishes to these properties using materials that are compatible with original substrates. This isn't a specialism we added on — it's work we've been doing properly for years, and we're careful about taking it on only when we're confident we can deliver the right result.

Sefton Park
to Woolton —
Done Properly

The residential belt that runs through Sefton Park, Aigburth, Mossley Hill, Allerton, and Woolton represents the serious domestic market in Liverpool. These are large Victorian and Edwardian properties with high ceilings, detailed cornicing, and owners who have specific ideas about how they want things finished. The work isn't just about applying paint — it's about reading the property, the existing finishes, and the client's intent, then executing to a standard that matches the quality of the building.

We also work across the north side of the city — Formby, Crosby, Blundellsands — where the residential character is different but the expectation of quality is the same. Interior and exterior, complete redecorations, or individual projects where the detail matters. Spray finishing available for kitchens, joinery, and fitted furniture where a factory-level result is required.

The Baltic
Triangle and
Beyond

Liverpool's commercial and hospitality sector has a specific character. The Baltic Triangle — the former warehouse district that has become the city's creative and hospitality hub — has generated a significant amount of fit-out and refurbishment work over the past decade. These spaces combine original industrial features with contemporary interior design, which requires judgement about what to preserve and how to finish what surrounds it.

We carry out commercial decorating work across the city — waterfront hospitality, city-centre offices and retail, and developer projects across Merseyside. The programme is agreed before we start, the access is planned around your operation, and we don't leave a site half-finished because another job came in.
