Quotations and Estimates
All quotations provided by Redecorate Ltd are based on the information available at the time and are valid for a limited period unless stated otherwise. Quotes are estimates and may be subject to change if the scope of work changes, if unforeseen issues arise, or if site conditions differ from those originally assessed.Any additional work requested after a quotation has been accepted may be charged separately.
Booking and Acceptance
A booking is confirmed once the quotation has been accepted verbally, in writing, or electronically. Acceptance of a quotation confirms agreement with these Terms and Conditions.We reserve the right to refuse or withdraw from work where site conditions are unsafe, unsuitable, or not as described.
Payments
Payment terms will be agreed prior to the commencement of work. Invoices must be paid within the timeframe stated. Late payments may result in delays, suspension of work, or refusal of future services.All prices are quoted in pounds sterling unless otherwise stated.
Cancellations and Changes
If you need to cancel or reschedule work, we ask for reasonable notice. Late cancellations or repeated changes may result in a charge to cover time, materials, or lost work.We reserve the right to reschedule work due to weather conditions, access issues, illness, or circumstances beyond our control.
Preparation, Access, and Site Conditions
The client is responsible for ensuring reasonable access to the property during agreed working hours. Areas to be decorated should be cleared where possible prior to work commencing unless otherwise agreed. We are not responsible for delays or additional costs caused by restricted access, unforeseen structural issues, hidden defects, or conditions not visible during initial inspection.
Materials and Finishes
Where materials are supplied by Redecorate Ltd, we will use products appropriate to the job and agreed finish. Colour variation, drying times, and final appearance may vary depending on surface condition, lighting, and product limitations.Where materials are supplied by the client, we cannot be held responsible for the performance or suitability of those materials.
Completion and Snagging
Work is considered complete once the agreed scope has been delivered. Any minor snagging issues should be reported within a reasonable timeframe so they can be reviewed and, where appropriate, rectified.
Liability
We take reasonable care in carrying out all work. Our liability is limited to the value of the work carried out by Redecorate Ltd. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including delays caused by factors outside our control.Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes liability where it cannot be excluded under UK law.
Warranty
Where applicable, workmanship is covered by a limited warranty as outlined at the time of service. This does not cover general wear and tear, damage caused by third parties, or issues arising from underlying defects or unsuitable surfaces.
Photography and Marketing
We may take photographs of completed work for portfolio or marketing purposes. No personal identifying information will be used. If you do not wish for images of your project to be used, please inform us in writing before work begins.
Termination
We reserve the right to terminate an agreement if payment terms are not met, access is repeatedly restricted, site conditions are unsafe, or these Terms and Conditions are breached.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
